What's in your ear??

Ringing, and not much else. Because the weather is really starting to change now and be wet and cold/hot instead of dry and cold/hot, I am now officially with cold. Right on schedule. At least my body is consistent.

Other than ringing, this is also in my ear, until my Nyquil kicks in and a go back to Never Never Dreamland...Enjoy!

The Air Let Out of a Possibility

It could have been really awesome. But instead, you ruined it.

Is it sad than I'd rather sit in my room alone than face the world of college boys? Don't answer that. I know. Sad.

Sometimes I wish I had kids so Halloween could be fun...

The break time feels weird

I've been running on 'Empty' for so long, it feels odd to be recharged and energized. How will I use my time today? Sushi with a dear friend. Maybe a library card I've been meaning to get. Yarn! I really should make those scarves I've been meaning to.

You couldn't pay me to pick up a school book today. Today is my day to enjoy my energy and newfound sense of smiling. Tomorrow I'll (maybe) use to do work. Today is mine.

Be Unstoppable Today

How can anyone be the protagonist in his own life until he stops playing the victim? He can't. He's always going to be owned and never own. I'm done taking the emotional battery because you can't stand up. I'm not a crutch. I'm me. I am unstoppable. We all are. So show it.

The amazing thing is, I can go anywhere in the world, even if no job awaits. My sense of adventure is back. And graduation is so close I can taste it. And for once, I'm not running from; for once, I'm running to. This world has something to offer me, and I, it. I can't wait to discover what that is. And possibly find someone to run with.

I can feel the seasons changing in every aspect of my life.

Oh what a day is today

I slept on my parents' couch last night. I was planning on leaving to go back to my humble abode (apartment) at 9pm last night, but then (hopefully) future me showed up and that plan went kapputz. So after 3 bottles of wine, I slept on the couch and was up before the sun.

My poor puppy is getting so old. Sometimes I forget how old he is because his face screams of youth. Dogs are so precious. I truly believe they're one of the few things on this planet that make it better for us by just existing. I wish I could do that for someone.

LaTE nigHt PeANut ButTEr sanDWicH

I decided, after going to sleep at 9:30, that 2 am was a good time to wake up and gorge on peanut butter, cheese its, and hot tea. Should have just stuck with the tea. I now feel disgusting and nauseous. Yay. BUT, I'm happy to say, my cousin loves me and sent me the document that is on every one's mind at Duke. So, at least I had something to read.

I had a MUCH needed gab session with Em. It was nice to let out *some* of what was really going on. It rendered her speechless, as is to be expected. Was I really that good at hiding it?? I'm a little impressed with my acting skills these days. Anyway, it was good to hear that I'm really not that crazy (specifically in the negative sense of the word). At least I understand the human condition enough to be, I don't know, human. I truly believe others should try it.

Apparently the amount I believe in the good in people is astounding to many. For some reason, my trust in others doesn't break. And when it does, it affects me personally more than it does my relationship with those people.

Life is mostly froth and bubble,
Two things stand like stone,
Kindness in another's trouble,
Courage in your own.
